The availability of broadband internet has become a primary consideration for business looking to begin or relocate their
operations. Unfortunately in much of the country broadband access is not available by traditional means.
Wireless networks provide a quick, cost effective solution. They can be deployed on a wide area basis to provide service
to a variety of commercial and residential customers. In addition, they can provide support for the local government by
providing connectivity between locations and backhaul for products such as traffic and security cameras.
The wireless network can also be split into various dedicated uses with individual SSID's. For example,
network mytown.net may provide services for local users while exploremytown.net may take visitors to an initial page
that outlines the services and attractions offered by the area. All of the various networks can be supported
simultaneously on the same infrastructure.
Wireless Consulting Services, LLC offers design and installation services for the local municipality. Our typical
approach is to discuss the requirements of the project, review all existing structures such as public safety towers,
buildings, water tanks, light poles, etc and design a network that incorporates as much existing infrastructure as
possible to keep the cost of deployment reasonable.
